The furthest town we serve, and worth the drive.

Smyrna sits at the southern end of our area, down on the Kent County line, and it is the one place where scheduling is worth a word up front. We group Smyrna jobs so the drive makes sense, which means timing is sometimes a few days rather than next morning. It also means it is the best place to go in with a neighbor.

The town splits cleanly. In the older center there are homes with real age on them, painted wood and brick, narrower lots, mature trees. Out along Route 1 and in the newer developments it is the same vinyl colonial story as Bear and Middletown, just newer in places and more spread out.

What makes Smyrna different is the open country around it. Less tree cover than Hockessin and more wind and farm dust, so the film on siding and concrete is dustier and the growth is more about weather exposure than permanent shade. Driveways are longer out here, and plenty of properties have a detached garage, a shed or a pole building that nobody thinks to include until they see the house finished.

Mention the outbuildings when you call. They are usually cheap to add once we are already on site and set up, and leaving them is what makes a finished job look half done.
